A fantastic and enduring piece of kit for our family
This is amazing. My husband was worried about allowing my building loving 4 year old to have access to this but he is amazing with it. Obviously clear guidelines need to be set first (I found a really good article on Community play things website about woodwork with young children and also check out Teacher Tom's blog) to ensure health and safety is clear, but it really has been an amazing investment. The thing I like is that my older daughter has been able to use it for making things for her homework (making name plaques, a box, and junk sculpture etc), and so many children from 5-12 that have visited our house for play dates etc have been drawn to the tools and work bench (which is extendable) and got so much satisfaction from completing something. The possibilities for creativity, using and applying mathematics, problem solving and much more seem endless!

Wow! Amazed by the quality
This is truly a fabulous product that is sure to keep your little one occupied for hours! I was slightly nervous paying more for my childs work bench than I did my own, but the quality is that good, I could use this myself. The wood is really solid, just like an adults bench and is robust enough to take a lot hammering and banging! With our son only being 3 years old, I was also slightly nervous about the tools being real but they are brilliant. They work, but are safe enough not to hurt him! I can't speak highly enough of this product. I was blown away just how good it is and wish I had one for my self!

We bought some Balsa wood for him to use with it as it's easy to saw through.

The slight downside of this product was that it took a quite a long time for my handy husband to put together, but it is solid and well made.
